The leader of the Greens in the Bundestag, Katharina Dröge, does not see the time as yet to think about easing the corona restrictions. “As long as the number of infections is increasing and the vaccination rate is still too low, it is premature to relax the signals,” Dröge told the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger”. The politician from Cologne, who has been at the head of the Greens parliamentary group together with Britta Haßelmann since December 2021, urged caution: “Of course you have to think about how to get out of the restrictions. But if you are already loud about it now talks, many think we’re over the hill. Instead, it may well be that we have to adjust the rules again,” said Dröge.
