The General Manager of the Central Association of the German Construction Industry, Felix Pakleppa, explains the decision of the Federal Government, which became known today, to lift the commitment freeze for the KfW programs for energy-efficient construction:

“We welcome the decision of the federal government to lift the commitment freeze for the KfW programs, including the extremely popular KfW 55 program in new buildings, and to approve at least the applications submitted by January 24. Our protest paid off at this point .

However, we appeal to the federal government not to shock home builders and investors in this way again. This is poison for the construction industry. Because investors and builders need stable and reliable framework conditions.”
