It is correct that Detlef Scheele, head of the Federal Employment Agency, points out the social consequences of a general obligation to vaccinate. However, the temptation is great that these disadvantages are used as a means of pressure to persuade those who are unwilling to be vaccinated. Politicians should never derive compulsory vaccination from an understandable desire for a certain behavior. Rather, the restriction of fundamental rights can only serve to protect even higher-ranking fundamental rights. And by no means to conquer stubborn citizens.
