The buyer of the Aida Mira is now known: the cruise ship that has been decommissioned by Aida Cruises will in future sail for the newly founded British operator Ambassador Cruise Line. The company, which essentially consists of the former management of the insolvent tour operator Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV), wants to use its second ship under the name “Ambition”.
The start-up had previously acquired the former P&O ship Pacific Dawn and renamed it Ambience. It is scheduled to embark on its first cruise under the new flag in early April this year.
