According to Prime Minister Markus Söder, the situation in the Bavarian clinics is currently the most important criterion for the corona measures. Ultimately, the aim is to prevent hospitals from being overburdened. In fact, most of the alleged “corona patients” are not being treated for Covid-19 at all. In Bremen last week, Covid was the reason for admission in only 40 percent of the cases, as reported by the “Bild” newspaper. In Rhineland-Palatinate it was 44 percent. And in Saarland, only every fourth patient officially reported as a “corona patient” was actually in the hospital because of corona.

The care policy spokesman for the AfD parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament, Roland Magerl, comments on this as follows:

“Recently it turned out that the incidence figures in Bavaria and other federal states had been manipulated. Numerous people with unknown vaccination status had simply been added to the alleged infection figures of the unvaccinated. And now it is known that the hospitalization figures are also misleading. Only a small one Some of the alleged ‘Corona patients’ are actually in the hospital because of Corona. Corona is only a secondary diagnosis. This also applies to Bavaria, as the BR asked at several hospitals in major Bavarian cities. The majority of patients are being treated for other diseases.

Nevertheless, neither Bavaria’s Health Minister Holetschek nor Federal Health Minister Lauterbach make any move to end this manipulation. Holetschek only spoke of a ‘problem with the registration question’. And Lauterbach even said that it doesn’t matter whether a patient is in the clinic ‘because of or with Corona’. He’s sick one way or the other.

We as the AfD see it differently: It is absolutely crucial whether the official figures correspond to reality. Because they are used to justify numerous restrictions on civil rights, including compulsory vaccination. I call on the state government to ensure correct, reliable figures. The misleading of the population must come to an end!”
