MSC: Initiative for young counters | tourism up-to-date


MSC Cruises will bundle sales activities for trainees and young travel salespeople in the new “Young Professionals” initiative. The aim is to develop a “young and dynamic MSC Cruises Counter generation”, as the shipping company reports. The program is accompanied by the company’s sales and social media experts.

The start in March is the “Cruise Night” on a short cruise from IJmuiden to Hamburg with the MSC Magnifica. Around 100 participants can familiarize themselves with the ship and the product. Tours on the Grandiosa, Preziosa and Magnifica in Kiel and Hamburg are planned for April, June and July. In addition, longer information trips with the Grandiosa in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean are on the program for May and September. Events are also planned in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg as well as at the MSC headquarters in Munich. A second Cruise Night in Hamburg in October forms the conclusion.

MSC Cruises will select the “Master of Young Prof 2022” from among all participants and will reward them with participation in a christening ceremony for the upcoming new ships.

Registrations for the first event, the Cruise Night aboard the Magnifica, are early March here possible.
