Holland America Line Extends Rebooking Option | tourism up-to-date

Holland America Line is extending the “worry-free” rebooking option to sailings through September 30 of this year. Cruises booked by March 31st may be canceled or rebooked for any reason up to 30 days prior to sailing. Customers will then receive a credit equal to the applicable cancellation fee to redeem for future Holland America Line travel.

The shipping company emphasizes that “worry-free” also means that strict hygiene measures continue to apply. This includes that only fully vaccinated guests are allowed on board and have to undergo a medically monitored corona test immediately before departure.

Optionally, customers may purchase “Standard” cancellation insurance when booking their cruise or Alaskan program. Guests can then cancel up to 24 hours before departure and receive a refund of 80 percent of the amounts paid. Costs vary by cruise fare and are non-refundable.
