With “The Melia Collection”, the Spanish hotel group is now introducing another luxury brand. According to Melia, the collection will bundle homes with “personality and in iconic locations” that will offer guests authentic experiences.
Melia is currently running six hotels under the new brand: The Hacienda del Conde in north-east Tenerife is a 250-year-old Canarian hacienda with 117 suites, which also has a golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros.
In London, the London Kensington Hotel is one of them, which aims to inspire guests with its historical design and wallpapers by William Morris from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. In Paris, travelers can choose between two domiciles: The French writer Victor Hugo was once a guest in the Villa Marquis, which opened in 1823. Hotel Maison Colbert is a boutique hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
On the long-distance route, the Desert Palm Hotel in Dubai is a member, a 160-hectare polo resort that offers some exclusive villas with private pools.
Also included is the Melia Serengeti Lodge in the national park of the same name in Tanzania. It extends over three terraces overlooking the animal-rich plain and offers 50 rooms and an infinity pool.
