The Omikron variant, that much is certain, can no longer be stopped. But if it is possible to flatten the infection curve with a few more weeks of discipline, then the variant is an opportunity, even for those who are unwilling to be vaccinated. However, in contrast to the many immunized people, quite a few of them bear the risk of not being able to experience the big party at the end of the pandemic themselves.
