Hapag-Lloyd Cruises requires booster vaccination | current tourism

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is tightening the Corona rules: From mid-February, guests aged 18 and over must have a booster to travel with them, provided that the basic immunization against Covid-19 was more than three months ago. This follows the recommendation of the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko), as announced by the shipping company on its website. If necessary, different regulations apply to individual trips, about which the guests concerned would be informed in good time.

The new regulation will come into force on February 14th for trips on Europa 2, and from February 19th it will also apply to Hanseatic Nature and Hanseatic Spirit. And from February 24th also for Hanseatic Inspiration and Europa. The deadline for flights with the Albert Ballin private jet is March 26th.

Proof of basic immunization against Covid-19 as well as the booster vaccination must be presented upon embarkation or boarding. Proof of recovery without additional proof of vaccination is not sufficient.

As of February 1, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will no longer only require proof of full vaccination protection from adults, but also from children over the age of twelve. The shipping company publishes current information on its Website.
