Berlin (ots)

The MPs of the AfD parliamentary group in the German Bundestag demonstrated today at the beginning of the questioning of the Chancellor with posters (“Freedom instead of division”) against the 2G-Plus regulation imposed by Bundestag President Bärbel Bas in parliament. As a result of this regulation, unvaccinated MPs are no longer allowed to enter the plenary hall and committee rooms.

The chairmen of the AfD parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla, share:

“This regulation is completely disproportionate and legally questionable. It restricts MPs who have decided against vaccination in the exercise of their mandate in an inadmissible manner. The 2G-Plus regulation is equivalent to a vaccination requirement and stigmatizes unvaccinated MPs. We call on the President of the Bundestag to withdraw the order immediately and thus to end the split in parliament. ”
