RKI: No new high-risk areas | current tourism

The travel conditions will not become more complicated in the coming week, at least from the point of view of the Robert Koch Institute. The RKI has not designated any new high-risk areas, but is removing Armenia, Iran, Mongolia, the Philippines and Romania from the list. Those who return from these countries do not have to be in quarantine from Sunday on, even without proof of vaccination or health recovery.

The Robert Koch Institute also did not identify new virus variant areas in its update. The eight countries in southern Africa, which have now been considered such for 14 days due to the spread of the omicron variant, remain on the list.
