Tommi Schmitt, ZDFneo and Seapoint Productions will continue together in the coming year: Author and podcaster Tommi Schmitt will host the show “Studio Schmitt”, which started in April 2021, again in 2022. After a winter break, 24 new episodes will be shown in the ZDFmediathek and in ZDFneo from March next year.
In his show, Tommi Schmitt works through contemporary madness in a pointed and entertaining way, receives an exciting personality every week and asks her the right questions. Viewers are regularly provided with additional content on the show’s Instagram channel.
From the start of the show at the end of August to the penultimate edition on December 2, 2021, the second season “Studio Schmitt” achieved an average market share of 1.9 percent among 14-49 year olds (audience participation: 0.11 million). For 20-29 year olds, the average market share of 4.1 percent to date is above the channel average in this target group. The same is the case with 30-39 year olds with a market share of 2.2 percent. Most successful on TV was the episode of October 28, 2021 with soccer player Turid Knaak, which reached 0.19 million viewers in the target group of 14-49 year olds and thus a market share of 3.3 percent.
So far, the episode with Karl Lauterbach has been accessed the most in the media library with currently 363,000 views. From the start of the season to the penultimate edition, the shows achieved a total of 3.8 million views.
