UHLALA Group selects job portal Monster for special commitment to LGBTIQ + in the workplace
Monster Worldwide Germany ranks first on the SME list at this year’s, published today by the UHLALA Group PRIDE Index Report. * This LGBTIQ + Diversity Performance Index distinguishes companies that are particularly committed to LGBTIQ + and diversity in the workplace. Monster had previously gone through the PRIDE audit and had its information verified by the UHLALA Group in order to independently ascertain the status quo of its own LGBTIQ + diversity management. The audit also showed where there is potential for further improvement.
“We sincerely congratulate Monster on their great performance and the top result in our PRIDE audit. With over 80 percent of the total number of points, Monster tops the list of SMEs in the PRIDE Index 2021. This not only reflects the great and sustainable commitment to LGBTIQ + diversity and the importance that Monster gives to the topic. As a real LGBTIQ + diversity champion, Monster also impressively proves that companies can also campaign for LGBTIQ + diversity at the local level, create inclusive structures and empower their LBGITQ + employees, “explains Stuart B. Cameron, CEO of the UHLALA Group.
Diversity and inclusion brought into focus
For some time now, Monster has been focusing heavily on the topic of diversity & inclusion (D&I) in its own company. In addition to the external certification by the UHLALA Group, Monster has already launched and expanded further initiatives and measures this year, for example various employee resource groups, a diversity committee, learning modules on the subject of “Conscious Inclusion” and recommendations for action on the subject of gender. Maike Woitschach, Agile Sales Coach at Monster, oversaw the PRIDE Index Audit and, in her new role as D&I Ambassador and part of the global diversity committee, will continue to focus on accompanying these and other measures across all dimensions of diversity , expand and promote.
“We are extremely pleased that we did so well in the PRIDE Audit and shows us that we are on the right track,” comments Maike Woitschach. “But we are also aware that there is still a lot to be done. The external view and examination by independent and professional experts: inside like that of the UHLALA Group is essential for us. This is the only way we can get a complete and honest view of things our status quo, can uncover fields of action and bring about real change. I am very much looking forward to advancing the monster heart issue of diversity and inclusion in every respect in my role! “.
* In the PRIDE Index, companies with up to 499 employees are classified as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Companies with more than 500 employees are considered to be large companies. Further information on the PRIDE Index can be found at https://uhlala.com/pride-index/.
