Directed by Oliver Frohnauer, who alongside Dr. Andreas Weinek is also responsible as an author. Weinek also acts as an additional executive producer.

Emanuel Rotstein: “How did Ludwig II, King of Bavaria die? Was Nikola Tesla a genius or a madman? Was there actually an alien invasion in Nuremberg in 1561? let us answer these and other questions about historical phenomena, personalities, myths or legends. With Niklas Marian Müller we have won a host for the series who will also bring the fascinating stories closer to a younger target group. ”

Niklas Marian Müller: “History is teeming with bizarre things, unbelievable events and groundbreaking achievements. In ‘On the Trail of History’ I may introduce some of this. I invite the HISTORY Channel audience to take me on this fascinating journey different historical epochs to follow. ”
