Kearney strengthens its market position with the acquisition of the Scandinavian procurement and supply chain specialist Prokura. The company is one of the most renowned purchasing and supply chain consultancies in Northern Europe and the takeover is intended to further accelerate its growth path. At the same time, Kearney strengthens its position as a leading procurement and supply chain advisor in Europe.

“With the expertise of Prokura, we can support our clients in a more targeted manner in setting up and optimizing their procurement and supply chain structures. This is particularly true for the complex and volatile European market,” says Dr. Martin Eisenhut, Partner and Managing Director at Kearney in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is convinced.

Procuration was established in 2008. In addition to offices in Oslo and Copenhagen, the company is also present in Munich. Prokura will remain as an independent brand and will operate as a business unit within Kearney. With over 60 power of attorney experts, Kearney, as a global management consultancy, strengthens the existing procurement and supply chain team with more than 650 specialists, in-house competence centers and digital analysis and optimization programs.

“Prokura suits us not only with regard to the range of services, but also to the corporate philosophy. I am looking forward to a powerful teamwork from which our clients in particular will benefit,” said DDr. Michael F. Strohmer, Global Lead Partner for Procurement and Co-Head of Operations Europe at Kearney.
