BRITA, the expert in the field of drinking water optimization and customization, put sustainability at the center of its activities even more consistently than before with its corporate strategy “Shaping Sustainable Solutions” at the end of 2020. The German Sustainability Award (DNP) is the national award for top performance by business, municipalities and research in the field of sustainability. It has just been awarded for the second time in Düsseldorf. “The BRITA 3-way kitchen faucet with the mypure filter was one of the winners here because it dispenses filtered water directly from the tap and thus helps reduce water bottles and plastic waste,” said the jury. The award was accepted by Hartmut Wolf, Vice President Strategic Marketing Consumer, as the person responsible and deputy for the team in the end-consumer product area.

“Sustainable design has perhaps the greatest lever of transformation,” explains the initiator of the award, Stefan Schulze-Hausmann.
