The online English school Novakid is investing $ 100,000 in the first rebranding in the company’s history. The creative agency BBDO / Proximity is responsible for the new brand identity. Reason for the new look: Novakid’s international growth and the desire to open up new markets in time for the company’s 5th anniversary.
Since 2017, Novakid has grown from an EdTech startup into a large international company that is a leader in online English learning for children in Europe. Since the beginning of 2021 alone, the company has recorded 700 percent growth in user numbers. As of November 2021, the company has a customer base of 500,000 users worldwide. It is precisely this growth in international markets that has inspired Novakid’s new branding: Simple, accurate visuals should improve the quality of communication with users and be equally easy to understand in all countries. To achieve this goal, the company logo was simplified and a new color palette and font developed.
Novakid’s learning platform is a place where children can learn English with a generous helping of fun and achieve success at the speed of light. The rocket, stylized as a children’s toy, stands for these cornerstones of the company and is at the same time a symbol that children all over the world can relate to. Novakid’s new branding is also intended to be reminiscent of a playground where children around the world can play and learn, because fun and a positive environment are essential for successful language acquisition in early childhood.
The new slogan “The Right Place to Start” conveys the core competence of Novakid, immersive English lessons by native speakers for children from 4 years. The new brand identity features more color and creates a clear and lively visual style that sets the company apart from its competitors.
“The strategic goal of the new image is to make ‘English for Children’ and ‘Novakid’ synonyms. The investments in the renewal of the brand will make a decisive contribution to improving brand awareness and customer loyalty worldwide,” said Max Azarov, Founder and CEO of Novakid.
