Health Pass issuance pharmacies will be expanded, and the issuance fee will be up to KRW 49,000

France’s Pass Sanitaire issuance method has changed since November 5. Previously, it was possible to apply for free online on the website of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but now it is only available at local pharmacies in France.

According to the Korean Embassy in France, starting from the 5th, all non-EU citizens (over 12 years old), except for international students and local residents in France, can obtain a health pass at a pharmacy by bringing their passport and the original English vaccination certificate. Vaccines recognized in France are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Janssen, which have been approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

An official from the French Tourism Agency said, “Pharmacies that can issue health passes can be found on the website of the French Ministry of Health or the Korean Embassy in France. You can think of it as about 49,000 won),” he said.

However, the health pass issuance procedure may change depending on local circumstances, so it is safe to check with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism before departure.
