‘Fair Tourism 59 Seconds Video Festival’ contest, total prize money of 10 million won

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization announced on the 3rd that they will hold the ‘Fair Tourism 59 Seconds Video Festival’ contest until November 22 (Mon).

Under the theme of ‘What do you think is a safe, fair, and sustainable trip?’, a short video of 59 seconds or less.

Fair tourism refers to sustainable tourism in which damage to the natural environment is minimized while respecting the lives and cultures of local residents, and profits from travel in a fair transaction are returned to local residents.

The contest is open to all citizens who love to travel, either individually or as a team. Participating videos must be your own creations, and the format of the video can be of any genre such as drama, music video, news, or interview, but it must be 720p or higher high-definition video with a story. There is no limit on the number of people in each team when participating in a team, and multiple entries by one person are not allowed.

A total of 7 winning works will be selected for this contest, and the selected works include the grand prize 3 million won (1 team), the grand prize 2 million won (two teams), the excellence prize 1 million won (2 teams), and the encouragement prize 500,000 A total of 10 million won will be awarded, including won (two teams).

​For video works submitted by November 22, 7 films will be selected through expert screening, and the finalists will be announced on December 3.
