From Korean Air and Jeju Air, FSC and LCC
He is expected to take office on the 10th following an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
Air Premia, a new airline, announced on the 1st that it has appointed Yoo Myung-seop, former general manager of Jeju Air, as its new CEO.
Myung-seop Myung-seop, who was appointed as the new CEO, served as a marketing executive for Korea after serving as a branch manager of Korean Air Germany and Eastern Europe and a sales planning team manager. Based on the know-how and experience accumulated during 26 years at Korean Air, an FSC, and 6 years at Jeju Air, an LCC, Air Premia will strive to establish itself as a hybrid (HSC) airline. He plans to officially take office on November 10th through procedures such as an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a resolution of the board of directors.
An Air Premia official said, “We have appointed Yoo as the new CEO by comprehensively evaluating his long career in the aviation industry in both FSC and LCC, work experience in overseas regions, and sales and marketing expertise.” As an airline, we will do our best to grow more innovatively together.”
Meanwhile, Air Premia finished domestic flights as of October 30 and is working hard to prepare for international flights to Incheon International Airport.
