Stena Line: New Germany boss | current tourism

The Swedish ferry company Stena Line has a new Germany boss: On November 1st, Mikko Juelich took over the position of Trade Director Germany and Managing Director of Stena Line GmbH in Hamburg.

The 48-year-old has many years of experience as a manager in the shipping industry. Most recently, the trained shipping clerk was managing director of the Lübeck container shipping company Container CSG. Before that, Juelich held various positions at the Finnlines ferry company for many years.

At Stena Line, as Trade Director Germany, he is responsible for the further development of routes between Germany and Sweden. “From our Hamburg location, we will concentrate on further stabilizing business in Germany and, based on the traditional routes Kiel – Gothenburg and Rostock – Trelleborg, growing it further,” announced Juelich. “This also includes strengthening our competitive position in the long term and further expanding our pioneering role in matters of sustainability.”

Mikko Juelich succeeds Ron Gerlach, who has taken up his new position as Technical Director of Stena Teknik in Gothenburg.
