In the course of a quality control carried out, suspicion of Salmonella was found in the above-mentioned articles.
According to the Robert Koch Institute, salmonella disease manifests itself within a few days after infection with diarrhea, abdominal pain and occasional vomiting and a slight fever. The symptoms usually subside on their own after several days. Infants, toddlers, the elderly and people with a weakened immune system in particular can develop more severe disease processes. People who have eaten this food and develop severe or persistent symptoms should seek medical attention and advise them of a possible salmonella infection. Seeking preventive medical treatment without symptoms does not make sense.
The company reacted immediately and had the affected eggs withdrawn from sale.
Customers who have bought the product in question can of course return it to their stores in exchange for reimbursement of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.
DANÆG A / S expressly apologizes to consumers for the inconvenience this may cause.
