In the October edition of Öko-Test, Kaufland impressed with three own-brand products: The K-take it veggie organic oat drink, the K-Classic parchment paper blanks and the bevola cream soap with almond oil received the top rating “very good” and are among the test winners in of the respective category.
In the field of oat drinks, the expert jury put the products of 32 brands under the microscope and assessed in particular the ingredients, taste and smell. The K-take it veggie organic oat drink convinces in all categories and received the grade very good in each case. With a price of 99 cents, the oat drink from K-take it veggie is also one of the cheapest products in the test. With its oat note, the sweet taste and a very light caramel note, consumers can use and enjoy the organic oat drink in coffee, muesli or cake batter, for example.
With a view to the upcoming Christmas bakery in the Advent season, another popular product: baking paper. In the current eco-test, the jury examined 24 different baking bases. She paid particular attention to the ingredients and the heat resistance, which was thoroughly tested in a practical test. The result: The parchment paper cuttings from Kaufland’s own brand K-Classic received the top rating of “very good” and, at 95 cents per pack, were also among the price winners in the test.
In the test with 40 bars of soap, the bevola cream soap with almond oil scored particularly well in terms of the ingredients and was finally rated “very good”. At 35 cents per bar of soap, the Kaufland own-brand product is also one of the cheapest in the test. The soap from bevola has a subtle scent and is also free of microplastics. The skin tolerance has been dermatologically tested and confirmed.
