For the second time has comewithMensch, the prevention campaign of the employers’ liability insurance associations and accident insurance companies, together with the A + A 2021 trade fair Film & Media Festival aligned. Today during the A + A as part of a Online event the winners of the film competition are announced.

Interested parties were invited to submit their health and safety media in one of the following categories:

“Companies and Organizations”: Winners will receive high-quality film equipment with a total value of 2,000 euros

“Young Professionals”: Winners receive 2,000 euros, which are earmarked for further prevention projects

“Crafts and Medium-Sized Enterprises”: The special prize is awarded by the Central Association of German Crafts and is endowed with 1,000 euros

“Portal arbeitschutzfilm.de”: This special award is given to a medium that is produced by trainees and is endowed with 1,000 euros.

One was also awarded Audience award: This could be voted on on the website of the occupational health and safety award. 2,000 euros are available for the audience award.

An independent jury of experts from business, associations and science selected the winners. The competition’s partners are: the portal berufsschutzfilm.de, Messe Düsseldorf, the organizers of A + A, the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP), Basi, the Federal Association for Safety and Health at Work, the Central Association of German Crafts . V.

The winners are:

1. In the companies and organizations category: # Lifesaver – PSA, Netze BW GmbH

The video “#Lebensretter – Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)” by Christian Kahlhöfer, employee of Netze BW GmbH, tells an experience of a safety specialist. A fitter tells how his PPE has become his personal lifesaver. The video can be used to get started at team meetings or safety briefings.

2. In the young professionals category: OPERATION CAR WASH, mococo medienmanufaktur

The film “Operation Car Wash” from mococo medienmanufaktur shows with artificial and human intelligence as well as self-irony how perfect disinfection works with the client, EDEKA Center Stengel.

3. In the handicrafts and medium-sized businesses category: Safety for the journeyman – Karl Hofmann School, Worms

In their film, trainees in the painting trade from the Karl Hofmann School in Worms deal with two important topics for safety in the painting trade: scaffolding and paint materials.

4. Portal arbeitsschutzfilm.de: Safety video of the apprentices, Xella Germany

The trainees at Xella Germany created the “trainee safety video” themselves. The film conveys the dangers in operation and how important it is to adhere to safety rules.

5th audience award: Mario E. – Black is not a color – Jürgen Walter Consulting Company for Work, Health, Environment and Transport mbH.

In the film “Mario E. – Black is no color” by Jürgen Walter, Mario E. tells his tragic story: He survived a terrible accident while working in the steel industry. The aim of this film is to draw attention to dangers and dangers. At the same time, the article conveys how lucky Mario E. was and how much zest for life he feels.

come overwithMensch is the nationwide prevention campaign by employers’ liability insurance associations, accident insurance funds and their umbrella organization, the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV). The background to this is that the number of work accidents has not decreased significantly in recent years. In order to get closer to the goal of Vision Zero, a world without work accidents and work-related illnesses, a holistic approach is needed: comewithMensch supports companies and educational institutions in developing a prevention culture in which safety and health are the basis of all actions.
