Cologne. Herbert Geiss, owner of the carnival and costume outfitter Deiters, sees his company back on track despite the heavy losses caused by Corona. “In the short term, it looks as if we will almost reach the pre-Corona level,” he reported to the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger” (Saturday edition). “At the end of our fiscal year (March 31, 22) we will probably be at something like 60, 70 or maybe even 80 percent of pre-crisis sales after losing over 90 percent of sales for a year and a half.” Overall, he feels a clear need to catch up in terms of partying and dressing up. Geiss said the prices remained stable: “We don’t want to spoil people’s fun now.”
