The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization will hold the Seoul’s representative online shopping festival, ‘2021 Seoul Shopping Festa’, from October 29 to November 3.
About 300 companies and 2,900 stores will participate in this event, and offer discounts of up to 70% in 8 categories including travel and accommodation, fashion and beauty, and food and beverages for Koreans and foreigners residing in Korea.
This event was designed to support the shopping and tourism industry in Seoul, as well as small and medium-sized businesses that have been hit by COVID-19, to promote various brands and products, and to expand sales channels.
This year, in particular, the travel/accommodation category has been greatly strengthened to focus on support for travel/accommodation companies that have been hit hard by COVID-19. A total of 50 travel/lodging companies, including domestic travel agencies such as Hana Tour and Web Tour, and Yanolja, an accommodation platform, will participate in this event.
The most notable part of this year is that it provides a variety of entertainment through collaboration with various organizations.
In addition to special exhibitions linked to online shopping platforms (11st, Gmarket, Auction), ‘Seoul Maid’ of the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency, ‘Seoul Brand Partners’ of Seoul, ‘Seoul Gourmet Week’, ‘Garak Mall’ of Seoul City Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation We plan to hold various planned exhibitions together.
