The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization will hold the ‘Seoul International Travel Mart (SITM)’ online and offline for 9 days from October 26th to November 5th. This is to rebuild the network of domestic and foreign tourism industry, which has been contracted by COVID-19, and to preoccupy the tourism market in the era of With Corona.
This year, in particular, it will be held jointly with the ‘Seoul International Travel Mart for Medical Tourism (SITMMT)’. It plans to actively promote beauty, medical care, and wellness that are emerging as new normal tourism trends as well as tourism and MICE. The main programs are ▲Opening Ceremony ▲Seoul Tourism Briefing ▲Seoul Medical/Wellness Tourism Show Conference ▲Seoul Tourism Talk Concert ▲Beauty/Tourism Product Promotion Zone ▲Seoul Tourism Roundtable ▲Online 1:1 Business Consultation (B2B Travel Mart), etc. It will be held both online and offline at Saebitseom and 3D virtual event platform ‘Virtual Seoul’.
They are also actively exploring new markets through one-on-one online meetings. Meetings will be held between domestic companies such as travel agencies, hotels, and airlines and overseas buyers from 40 countries. This year, new buyers and sellers such as wellness, beauty, and tourism startups were also invited, and new normal tourism business opportunities were expanded compared to the existing Travel Mart. The 1:1 business conference will be held 24 hours a day in Virtual Seoul from October 27th to November 5th.

Meanwhile, last year, Seoul International Travel Mart and Seoul Medical Tourism International Travel Mart were held entirely online due to COVID-19. A total of 3,301 buyer-seller business meetings were held, and both domestic and overseas buyers showed over 80% satisfaction.
