On the debate about the vaccination decision by the national soccer player and Bayern professional Joshua Kimmich, the leader of the AfD in the German Bundestag, Alice Weidel, said:

“This vaccination debate is grotesque. As an adult, Mr. Kimmich made a rational decision regarding medical treatment. This decision is his private matter; it must be respected just like that of any other citizen who is for or against a corona vaccination The fact that Mr. Kimmich is now constantly being forced to justify his personal decision is excessive and reveals a dubious spread of conformist paternalistic thinking.

An example is evidently being made to Joshua Kimmich to further panic the citizens. It fits in with the fact that in the reporting, the less meaningful ‘incidence figures’ dominate instead of the number of actually sick people. Instead of creating the mood for new restrictions, it has long been time to return to the individual responsibility for their own health protection. Joshua Kimmich can definitely serve as a role model in this regard. ”
