The Philippine Ministry of Tourism produced a travel reality ‘My Hometown is GOAT’ with the AXN Asia channel. It will be aired on AXN Korea on November 13th.
My Hometown The GOAT program was designed with the goal of exploring the hometown of celebrities and making it the Greatest Of All Time. It consists of a total of 6 episodes with the theme of travel and lifestyle, and will be aired on AXN Korea on November 13th. You can also meet on the AXN Asia YouTube channel. The cast will visit their hometowns and tell stories of memories, and give tips on how to travel safely and economically in the Philippines in the new normal era.
First, Megan Young, Miss World 2013, and actress Mikael Daez head to Zambales, Megan’s hometown, to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They will also visit the neighboring areas of Pampanga and Tarlac for a history and gastronomic tour. Basketball player Marc Pingris will travel with his teammates on a bike ride through his hometown of Pangasinan to La Union. La Union is located in Ilocos, the northernmost part of the Philippines, and is famous for its beautiful lighthouse along with a long road.
Philippine Tourism Minister Bernadet Romulo Puyat said, “It will be more fun to travel around the Philippines from the perspective of the cast members who have strong bonds with the local community.”
