The results of the BloombergNEF (BNEF) survey 2021 on the bankability of PV modules were recently published and again show that JA Solar is at the forefront of PV module manufacturers in terms of financial stability and reputation. His bankability is recognized by the BNEF 100% recommendation index.

BNEF’s assessment of the bankability of module manufacturers is based on an analysis of the track record, financial stability and module technologies after a global survey of banks, funds, solar system manufacturers, independent power producers and technical consultants.

According to BNEF data on global loan-funded projects, module deliveries from JA Solar have had the highest percentage since August 2019, which shows that JA Solar’s immense bankability is recognized by the entire PV market.

The survey results also include module test data from PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), an independent, external test laboratory, and the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC), a leading testing agency in the United States.

According to PVEL’s “PV Module Reliability Scorecard 2021”, JA Solar is a so-called “Top Performer” for the sixth time. The Scorecard 2021 is a detailed summary of the test results over a period of 18 months. The product qualification program (PQP) for PV modules includes tests and analyzes of thermal cycles (TC600), damp heat (DH2000), potential-induced degradation (PID192), light-induced degradation (LID) and light- and temperature-induced degradation (LeTID). Compared to most standardized tests, the PQP is more stringent in terms of both conditions and sequences. As a result, the results are more detailed and more meaningful for practical module application scenarios. PVEL’s “Top Performer” award is a valuable recognition of the quality and excellent performance of JA Solar’s PV products.

In the PV Module Index Report (PVMI) 2021 by RETC, JA Solar is recognized as an “Overall High Achiever” for the outstanding performance of its modules in terms of quality, reliability and performance. The PVMI report 2021 summarizes the results of more than 12 months of tests for moist heat (DH2000), dynamic mechanical loading (DML), solar module efficiency, PTC-to-STC ratio, PAN file test, light-induced degradation (LID), light- and temperature-induced degradation (LeTID) as well as the results of the thresher test. Each of these tests is essential for the reliability of modules in practical application scenarios. The repeated award as “Overall High Achiever” confirms the performance advantages of the JA Solar modules in terms of efficiency, reliability and power generation capacity and perfectly reflects the concept of the module design: “customer-oriented, for optimal electricity production costs”.

JA Solar has always been committed to the development and application of high efficiency PV technology, as well as providing high quality products and services to customers around the world, and is a respected player in the world market. Thanks to its worldwide shipping volume, which has been in the top 3 for several years in a row, JA Solar has been awarded the Top Brand PV seal in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Australia and Vietnam.
