ANA Airlines accelerates ESG management with decarbonization

ANA is taking the lead in reducing carbon by using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The goal is to achieve zero CO2 emissions from aircraft operations by 2050. ANA Airlines announced on October 14 that it will implement the ‘SAF Flight Initiative’ program. SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) is an aviation fuel that uses biomass (a biological resource generated by photosynthesis) or waste cooking oil as raw materials and has a lower CO2 emission than conventional fuels.
